I’ve been hanging on to some pretty exciting news for the past few months. I bought a house! A week from today, Emerson and I will be closing on our new house and getting the moving party started! It has been such a great blessing to live with my parents for the past year and a half. It really is overwhelming to think of how much has changed during that time, but the stars have aligned and I have nothing but positive feelings about moving on and into our own home (even if it is only a few blocks away)!  I think my parents are pretty excited as well; although they have a pretty good poker face I know my mom is dreaming of all the extra closet space she’ll gain when we pack up!

I first looked at this house back in November, before it was for sale. Let’s just say it was a long winter waiting for this baby to list. I basically snatched it up before anyone else got a chance to look at it back in April. It’s a super cute 1960’s ranch style that was renovated a few years ago.

A few of the main selling points for me included a crazy impressive kitchen with a built-in wine fridge, a spacious fenced-in backyard, and one-level living with a full basement perfect for E’s new playroom. This gem is move-in ready aside from a little painting! Stay tuned for some before/after pics!
