We decided to have our own early-bird Christmas tonight since we’ll be out-of-town for the next week! Nic surprised Emerson after daycare and had her new slide assembled and ready to go! Just as we expected, it was a huge hit. We opted for a model on the smaller side so that it could live inside for a while and she could have something to climb on when it’s too cold to play outside. It’s created a bit of an obstacle in the dining room for Nic and I as well, but it’s totally worth it to see her having so much fun! After eating dinner and opening presents, Emerson took a break from the loot to play with Bela and his new squeaker bone. This was a great start to the holiday weekend and we are anxious to see family and friends in the upcoming week! Happy Holidays!
