It’d be crazy to pass up quality family time in Spirit Lake — especially during the summer so this past weekend called for a road trip. We’re still working out the kinks of long car rides, but I find strategic shopping pit-stops are a good way to break it up…  even if I still end up singing the Indian Fight song until I lose my voice.

In addition to the Rossow Family road warriors, the whole family was home. We tried to make the most of a quick weekend getaway and had a great time exploring Okoboji with our cousins and relaxing at home with my Aunt and Uncle. The details have escaped me, but I do know the weekend ended way too soon!
