Summertime! It’s finally here and this past week we enjoyed as many summer activities as we could possibly squeeze in. Sunday I took Emerson to the new splash pad in town — judging by the amount of people there, it’s a huge hit. I only had to run through the sprinklers (in my clothes) with her once before she was brave enough to run wild on her own. I have a soft spot for anything nautical inspired (think stripes, Sperry’s, flags, boats, rope, anchors… everything) so when I saw this adorable dress I knew it was the perfect excuse for a maritime adventure! After leaving it hang in the closet for several months, we finally woke up one Saturday morning and decided it was the day Emerson would become a sailor.
